Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has been a member of the White House coronavirus task force since its inception in January. Although positive cases of the coronavirus have declined in some areas of the U.S., Fauci told CNN’s Chris Cuomo that surges of the virus as the weather grows cooler are possible.
