Dr Disrespect’s criticism of the game started during beta and continued on launch day, when he slammed the Warzone 2 looting system. Prior to that, the controversial streamer had also thrown shade at Activision over being snubbed for an invitation to a Warzone 2 creator event that would have allowed him to play the game early.

Following a temporary ban from Call of Duty: Warzone 2, Dr Disrespect has been back to streaming the free-to-play shooter on a regular basis since December, but that schedule might now be coming to an end. During a recent stream with TimTheTatman, the content creator said he’ll give it another “two weeks” until switching to a different game if the developers don’t introduce significant improvements to Warzone 2. Dr Disrespect also described the game as “boring” and “one-dimensional” during the broadcast, all while noting his overall “love” for the Call of Duty franchise, implying that he expects better from Infinity Ward and Raven Software.

Beahm and his streaming partner then proceeded to discuss current alternatives to Warzone 2, concluding that there aren’t too many of those. Ultimately, the famous streamer said he “might go Valorant full-time” should he end up dropping Activision’s free-to-play battle royale game.

Looking at the bigger picture, Dr Disrespect has a history of rage-quitting games and even going as far as to uninstall them from his PC, only to resume playing them later. So, even should he decide to follow through with the threat to stop streaming Warzone 2, it’s dubious whether he’d have the resolve to stick with such a decision. Especially given how he also has a track record of rage-quitting Valorant, Riot Games’ competitive shooter that he’s now supposedly eyeing as his Warzone 2 replacement.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 hit 25 million players within a week of releasing, but its player count has reportedly been dropping at a steady rate ever since. And while Dr Disrespect has repeatedly criticized its core gameplay loop, many others have taken online to voice their displeasure about the game’s overall lack of polish.
