In a recent stream, Dr Disrespect brought up the topic of custom settings for Call of Duty: Warzone game modes, an idea he supports. This is similar to the request for private lobbies, which have been long asked for by the game’s dedicated community. With custom lobbies, a host could customize individual elements of a match, adding a whole new world of gameplay possibilities in the form of options for Call of Duty: Warzone fans to explore. If each game mode received custom settings, then private lobbies would have to be implemented to host each creative version of the Call of Duty: Warzone experience.

Call of Duty: Warzone continues to evolve, and all eyes are on its next evolution as the game integrates with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. As the game enters a new stage, many players and fans hope that the title will expand past its current stage and become an even greater battle royale experience.

A recent glitch loaded a player into a private Warzone lobby, so fans know that the application is at least possible in the game’s current build. With private Call of Duty: Warzone lobbies, fans would be able to organize personal events and play in smaller, casual versions of their favorite battle royale.

If Infinity Ward gave players access to private lobbies, many fans would use them to create small-scale tournaments. Custom mechanics in each lobby would birth unique Warzone variants, and players could explore the map in a less stressful way. From the player perspective, there is no major downside to allowing fans access to this long-sought out feature.

There have been rumors that Call of Duty: Warzone private lobbies may be on the horizon. Many fans hope to see the feature implemented before Call of Duty: Warzone integrates with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but they would be happy to see it after the merge as well. With Dr Disrespect echoing fan requests, many players believe that community support may be all the developers need to implement this long-awaited game mode.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
