As Zelda Informer is quick to point out, this isn’t the official soundtrack, but all of the music ripped directly from the game. That’s 183 tracks of pure listening pleasure that even Hylian ears couldn’t resist. The tunes range from zanily upbeat to rousingly inspirational to ominously spooky, and listening to them as a standalone experience really accentuates just how varied Twilight Princess really was. And while you can easily download the entire package, you can also pick and choose the individual tracks that you’d like to add to your collection. Let’s face it, Hologram Zant isn’t for everyone.

Of course, the smooth orchestral tones of Twilight Princess aren’t nearly as cool as the twangy guitar riffing from Wind Waker but it’s still better than 99.9% of the schlock that passes for game soundtracks. And remember how it’s free? So hurry up and download it already.

Enjoy it now, because in not too long we’ll have the pleasure of an entirely new Zelda soundtrack. We can all count on Skyward Sword to deliver, at least when it comes to the music.
